ACT Govt Light Rail Bid

In 2009 the ACT Government submitted a bid to Infrastructure Australia. This bid was ultimately unsuccessful, primarily due to the bid submission consisting of a business case, where the IA bids were supposed to be 'shovel ready' projects.

Although this bid has not ben endorsed, ACT Light Rail are presently lobbying for funding to prepare a detailed engineering study. This should form the basis of a 'shovel ready' bid to IA for ACT light rail funding.
